Many condo roof-tops are designed for recreational use. Hikvision cameras provide visibility to those residents accessing the roof, and help flag intruders.
In buildings where roof-tops do not offer a recreational space and are not available to residents, Hikvision’s condo security solution provides access to technicians who are authorized for HVAC and elevator service.
Hikvision’s AcuSense cameras filter false alarms and focus on human detection. That means these cameras can help flag unwarranted access to the roof area. Alternatively, Optimus, Hikvision’s middleware solution equipped with a Connector Software Development Kit (SDK), can leverage third-party sensors on the door, and use video verification when the roof door is opened.
In addition to managing access in a building, monitoring corridors on various floors provides additional security, which can capture acts of vandalism, theft, altercations, and other activities (such as pet issues and mischief). Hikvision intercoms offer a one-way video to let residents see who’s at the door without leaving their home. Tenants can view when visitors ring their condo unit and allow them to enter. The intercom can also be used by a concierge or security guard to grant building access to a tenant who has misplaced their keys. Video surveillance of communal mail boxes helps to deter theft or damage to packages as well as deter vandalism or loitering in outdoor entrances.
